Gallery70 ka kënaqësinë të prezantojë OAS2021 (Open Art Space) një ekspozitë e pervitshme dedikuar artistëve të rinj. Ata përzgjidhen përmes një thirrje te hapur dhe seleksionohen nga një Juri Nderkombëtare. Këtë vit Juria ishte e përbërë nga Aliki Tsirliagkou (Kuratore dhe themeluese e Nitra Galleries ne Greqi, Martin Stommel , artist, Jon Kraja artist . “Veprat e Adela Tufës, Silvi Nasufit dhe Inda Selës krijojnë një rrëfim për peizazhet e ndërtuara dhe praninë njerëzore, e cila shpesh nënkuptohet sesa tregohet. Një koment për jetën bashkëkohore. Vepra e Adelës janë plot ngjyra të buta dhe na zbulojnë peizazhet e bukura verore, rrugët e fshatit dhe lulet. Veprat e Sindit janë të mahnitshme dhe kanë të bëjnë me peizazhet urbane dhe rurale. Kam zgjedhur tre punë si dhe “jetën në hije” që është në thelb Jeta e fshehur pas këtyre peizazheve . Punimet e Indës janë në video. E para quhet ‘Përmbytje në shtëpinë time’ dhe një ‘përmbytje’ duket se po e përpin shtëpinë, e cila është në dialog të përsosur me veprat e dy artistëve të tjerë. Videoja e fundit “Pengesa” krijon një mbyllje apo piknisje të përkryer të rrëfimit të ekspozitës, pasi ka vetëm rrugën e ndaluar drejt natyrës dhe horizontit pa peizazh të ndërtuar (si në pjesën tjetër të veprave)”
Gallery70 has the pleasure to present OAS2021 (Open Art Space) a yearly exhibition promoting young artists. They are selected through an open call by an International Jury. This year’s jury : Aliki Tsirliagkou, Curator and Founder of Nitra Galleries. Greece, Martin Stommel, artist, Jon Kraja, artist. “The works by Adela Tufa , Silvi Nasufi and and Inda Sela create a narrative about constructed landscapes and the human presence which is often implied rather than shown. A commentary about contemporary living. Adela’s work if full of soft colors wandering in the beautiful summer landscapes, village streets and flowers. Sindi’s works are amazing and are about urban and rural landscapes.and I have chosen these three and the ‘life in the shade’ which is basically the Life behind these depicted landscapes. Inda’s works are in video. The first is called ‘floods in my house’ and a ‘flood’ seems to be swallowing the house, which is in perfect dialogue with The the works of the two other artists. The last video “Obstacle” creates a perfect ending or beginning to the narrative of the exhibition, as there is only forbidden way to nature and the horizon with no constructed landscape (as in the rest of the works)”

Themeluese dhe Drejtore e Nitra Galleries Athinë-Selanik, Greqi Aliki ka një histori të shkëlqyer me projekte që i ka koncepuar në mënyrë të pavarur ose si pjesë e nje ekipi kuratorial ‘ Ajo ka punuar me Qendrën e Arteve Bashkëkohore (pjesë e Muzeut Shtetëror të Artit Bashkëkohor të Selanikut), Bienalen e Artit Bashkëkohor të Selanikut (Bienalja:3/Udhëkryq i vjetër- Make it new). Aliki ka punuar në koleksione private dhe korporative dhe ka bashkëpunuar me korporata të ndryshme, ndër të cilat Banka e Tregtisë dhe Zhvillimit të Detit të Zi, TOMS dhe Louis Vuitton. Aliki has worked on private and corporate collections and has collaborated with various corporations, among which the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, TOMS and Louis Vuitton,. In 2016 she was selected to participate in the NEON Curatorial Exchange in collaboration with Whitechapel gallery in London. With a special interest in the moving image, Aliki has worked as the Contemporary Art Program Consultant for PCAI, a not-for-profit organization which aims to raise environmental awareness through contemporary art with a focus on the moving image. Gallery70 prezanton ekspozitën personale të artistit Fani Zguro “When Palettes (everything) Become Paintings”. Ekspozita konsiston në prezantimin e serisë me të njëjtin titull (2021) dhe videos “Pushing An Elephant Upwards” (2007). “When Palettes (everything) Become Paintings”, fillon si faqe revistash të palosura më katërsh, si tavalloca për të përzier ngjyrat. Me kalimin e kohës ato shndërrohen në piktura, në projekte të ardhshme dhe jo thjesht mbetje nga proçesi në studio. “Pushing An Elephant Upwards” është si një betejë jashtë fokusi midis objektivit të telekamerës dhe dritave të makinave gjatë një udhëtimi nokturn në autostradë. Dritat dalin jashtë çdo kontrolli. Ato formojnë një skenografi të pabindur, një lloj habitati artificial xixëllonjash. Ti vësh në rresht është si të ngresh pezull një elefant. Ekspozita inagurohet më 20 tetor dhe do të qëndrojë e hapur për publikun deri më datën 10 nëntor 2021.
Gallery70 presents Fani Zguro’s “When Palettes (everything) Become Paintings” solo exhibition, a presentation of the series by the same title (2021) and of the video “Pushing An Elephant Upwards” (2007). “When Palettes (everything) Become Paintings” starts as magazine pages folded in four and used as palettes to mix colors. Over time they grow out of their initial state of studio process waste, turn into paintings and future projects. “Pushing An Elephant Upwards” is like an out-of-focus battle between the camera lens and car headlights during a nocturnal highway trip. The headlights are out of control. They form a disobedient scenography, a sort of artificial firefly habitat. Lining them up is like making elephant float. The exhibition is inaugurated on October 20 and will remain open to the public until November 10, 2021.
Fani Zguro ka lindur në Tiranë në 1977 . Aktualisht jeton dhe punon në Berlin. Zguro u diplomua në Accademia delle Belle Arti di Brera në Milano (1998-2007). Në 2007 fitoi cmimin ndërkombëtar Onufri nga Galeria Kombëtare e Arteve në Tiranë; në 2016 cmimin ndërkombëtar Mulliqi nga Galeria Kombëtare e Kosovës dhe cmmin Best Video-Art nga TIFF Tiranë. Zguro ishte pjesë e AiR program në 2017 në Q21, Museumsquartier, Vienë. Fani Zguro was born in 1977 in Tirana. Lives and works in Berlin. Zguro graduated at the Accademia delle Belle Arti di Brera in Milan (1998-2007). In 2007 he won the International Onufri Prize assigned by the National Gallery of Arts in Tirana; in 2016 the International Mulliqi Prize of the National Gallery of Kosovo in Prishtina and the Best Video-Art award at TIFF Tirana. Zguro was part of the AiR program for 2017 at Q21, Museumsquartier, Vienna. […] Në ciklin e fundit të fotografive konceptuale të Jon Krajës, ka një rikthim te e pandërgjegjshmja fëminore, një kërkim estetik për të rikompozuar skena dhe marrëdhënie që ekzistojnë vetëm brënda unit të individit. Ato vijnë si një formë rebelimi kundra përpjekjes për të kërkuar një mendim unik brenda cdo krijimi. Janë aty për të na rikthyer tek eksplorimi i bukurisë dhe kurioziteti i pastër dhe i pakorruptuar i procesit estetik. Shikuesi është i lire të kërkojë një narrativë personale në krijimin e artistit.
[…]In the last cycle of conceptual photographs by Jon Kraja , there is a return to the childhood’s unconscious, an aesthetic quest to recompose scenes and relationships that exist only in the own’s oneself . They come as a form of rebellion against the attempt to seek a unique thinking inside the creation. They are there to bring us back to the exploration of beauty and the pure and uncorrupted curiosity of the aesthetic process. The viewer is free to find a personal narrative in the artist’s creation.

“Të kesh ngacmimin e duhur për të bërë një pikturë nuk është thjesht cështje frymëzimi por edhe të kesh gjendjen e duhur emocionale. Duket se këtë gjëndje piktores Albana Shoshi ia kane krijuar fotografitë e familjes dhe të fëmijërisë mbi te cilat ka ngritur një cikël të tërë pikturash. ”Ky impostim i fallsos, i imponuar që i vendoset njeriu kur vendoset para një objeklivi për të ngacmuar idenë se jo cdo gjë në këtë realitet kaq të bukur që ne shohim qetësisht është ashtu”, thotë Shoshi. Një pikturë realiste që vjen shumë natyrshëm me ngjyrime kontemporane, realizëm që tani në kohë shpreh në një farë mënyrë edhe ndikimin artistik te të atit piktorit Zef Shoshi.

Artistja ndërthur realizmin dhe impresionizmin per të arritur objektivin e saj final e pikerish imazhi artistik i kujtesës, emocionit dhe ndjesise se jetuar në një cast në të shkuarën.<br>
“That early the basic formation, has also influenced my choice of this current or this artistic form”, says Shoshi. From the art critics, Albana Shoshi, in the technical and stylistic aspect is considered a representative of photorealism in the developments of realist painting in Albania. It starts with the collection of information through the camera, continues with the selection of the amount of dimensions and ends with the color execution through the realism in the painting. The artist combines realism and impressionism to achieve her final goal and precisely the artistic image of memory, emotion and feeling lived in a moment in the past.

Gallery70 ka kënaqësinë të prezantojë ekspozitën e Jip & Jakup Ferri . Ato vijnë me një seri qilimash të dizenjuar në bashkëpunim nga artisti Jakup Ferri dhe i biri 11 vjecar Jip, frymëzuar nga teknologjia dhe punuar nga gra artizane në Veri të Shqipërisë. Kjo ekspozitë është një premierë evropiane që pas Tiranës do të vazhdojë rrugëtimin drejt Austrisë dhe Hollandës.
“Një karakteristikë e vecantë e kohës sonë të re dhe të egër, është dualizmi… të distancuar dhe njëkohësisht të dënuar për të qëndruar gjatë me njeri-tjetrin. Sipas grekëve të lashtë dualizmi mund të jetë edhe luhatje e personalitetit, por legjenda thotë se dualizmi mund të jetë edhe shprehje e dashurisë.
Në rastin tonë artisti kosovar Jakup Ferri ia ka besuar tërësisht deduksionin rreth dualizmit djalit të tij 11 vjecar, Jipit. Ai beson se dashuria e tyre është vetëm tipari i versionit të dytë.
” Jipi, djali im i luan disa lojëra kompjuterike, dhe pashë se me sa qejf e lehtësi dizajnonte. Unë gjithmonë kam dëshirë që punet e mija të kenë një bazë. E pyeta djalin tim nëse ishte i gatshëm të nisnim një punë së bashku. Dizajnimet e Jipit në këtë lojë janë ndërlidhur në një linjë me trashëgiminë e teknologjisë moderne, dhe kjo ide rezultoi me krijimin e qilimit të parë, që u punuar nga disa gra në një fshat të Veriut të Shqipërisë. Per mua ky nuk ishte qilimi i parë se tek kthehem në kohë me qilimat kam nis te eksperimentoj para rreth dhjete vitesh. Në atë kohë bashkëpunoja me tim atë per shumë vite. Këto dy vitet e fundit, isha shkëputur por designimet e Jipit më ngacmuan …”.
Jipi edhe pse ende i vogël, e kupton se legjenda e Jules Verne “Dy Vjet Pushime”, tashmë është realiteti absolut. Prandaj ai luan në një lojë kompjuteri e njohur si Animal Crossing. Dy vjet kalojnë sa hap e mbyll sytë dhe babë e bir nuk do të kenë më kaq shumë kohë për njeri-tjetrin. Po AnimalCrossing? A do ta shndërrojmë lojën e imazhit në lëvizje në dicka fizike, të prekshme dhe me kontekste që historia do të na buzëqeshte?
Jakup Ferri dëshiron të lidhë teknologjinë e fundit me traditën shqiptare në këtë projekt. Jipi është ndërlidhësi i këtij frymëzimi. Dizajnimet e tij nuk mendojnë historikisht. Ndërsa tradita është krejt në mëndjen dhe kujtimet e Jakupit. Ata janë dualizmi ideal…magneti është krejt në anën e shprehjes së dashurisë.
Është shumë interesante se si Ferri irikthehet teknologjisë pas kaq kohësh. Fillesat e artistit kosovar kanë qënë video-arti qysh herët në fillimin e viteve 2000, te cilat kanë patur një sukses të menjëhershëm,duke u prezantuar më së miri në ekpozita të rëndësishme si Istanbul Biennale, Quadriennal for Contenporary Art Copenhagen, Tanas Berlin, Artists Space New York etj .
Jakup Ferri ka qënë një nga risitë më brilante në artin bashkohor kosovar. Një karrierë që fillon me video e performanca dhe vijon me një rrugëtim tjeter, atipik, duke u përqëndruar tek arti naif dhe historiku I artistëve outsider.
E megjithatë, përpos të gjitha këtyre mutacioneve, nëse e kqyrim me vëmendje punën e Ferrit, aty do të zbulojmë ngahera të njëjtën gjurmë. Auto-ironia dhe dëshira për të luajtur në kah të kundert me stereotipin e zakonshëm, bëhen nji me poezinë e procesit. Të qënit adhurues i artistëve naive, për të është clirimi prej kornizave burokratike dhe prodhimit konvencional.
Kjo është ekspozita e parë ku Jakup Ferri prezanton këtë seri, dhe njëkohësisht hera e parë ku arti itij figurativ i dorëzohet dizajnimeve të Jipit, dhe Sol Lewitt duhet të na falë nëse Jipi nuk e imiton aspak, sepse ai është më I natyrshëm, më I lirë, me I bukur.”

Gallery70 has the pleasure to present a project by Jip & Jakup Ferri . In this exhibition they bring a series carpets that the artist Jakup Ferri and his eleven-year-old son Jip have designed together, inspired by the technology and hand made by handicrafts women from Northern Albania. This exhibition is a European premiere, to continue its journey to Austria and the Netherlands, soon after Albania.
“A particular characteristics of our new and harsh time is dualism… distanced, but at the same time, condemned to stay together for long. According to ancient Greeks, dualism could even be a personality fluctuaction, but the legend says that dualism could be an expression of love, as well.
In our case, the Kosovar artist Jakup Ferri has totally confided the deduction on dualism to his 11-year-old son, Jip. He believes their love is entirely related to the second-version.
” Jip, my son, plays some computer games, and I have seen that he does that quite easily and funnily. I have always wanted my works to have a basis. I asked my son, whether he was ready to work together. Jip’s designs in this game are connected to modern technology inheritance and such an idea gave life to the first carpet creation which was crafted by some women from a village in the Northern Albania. For me, this is not the first carpet, I started experimenting with carpets almost ten years ago. At that time, I collaborated with my father for many years. Recently, I was detached from it, but Jip’s designs stirred me up…”.
Despite his very young age, Jip understands that Jules Verne’s “Two years’ vacations” now is an absolute reality. That’s why he plays a computer game, called “Animal Crossing”.
Two years pass with a blink and father and son will not have so much time for each-other any more. What about Animal Crossing? Will we change the moving image game into something physical, tangible and contextual, so that history smiles at us?
In this project, Jakup Ferri wants to connect the final technology with the Albanian tradition. Jip is the liaison of such an inspiration. His designs are not based on history. Tradition is totally in Jakup’s mind and memories. They are the ideal dualism… the magnet is on the side of love expression.
It is very interesting to see how Ferri returns to technology after a long time. The beginnings of the Kosovar artist have been art-videos since the start of 2000, having an immediate success in introducing his works at important exhibitions, like Istanbul Biennale, Quadrennial for Contemporary Art Copenhagen, Tanas Berlin, Artists Space New York, etc.

Jakup Ferri has been a brilliant novelty in the Kosovar contemporary art. A career starting with videos and performances, to continue with another atypical journey, concentrating on naive art and outsider artists’ history.
Anyway, besides all these mutations, if we observe Ferri’s work carefully, we always discover the same traces. The auto-irony and his wish to play on the opposite side of the ordinary stereotypes intermingle with the poetry process. Being a worshipper of the naive artists, for him is a liberation from bureaucratic framework and conventional production.
This is the first exhibition, in which Jakup Ferri introduces this series, and also the first time when his figurative art surrenders to Jip’s designs. And Sol Lewitt should pardon us, if Jip does not try to copy him at all, as he is freer, more natural and beautiful”.
