Art Auction 2020

 The Embassy of Sweden champions an initiative benefiting art, artists and diversity: 30 artworks selected by Gallery70 artists will be auctioned in a mission to support art and artists donating part of the proceeds to “Streha Center” in Albania.

Art keeps going and keeps us going, beyond restrictions imposed to our lives by Covid-19. This is the idea that brought together the Embassy of Sweden, Ambassador Elsa Håstad, Gallery70 and its artists and the Streha Center in Tirana.

The initiative is built with the aim to encourage, sponsor and promote the originality in arts, the work of individual artists but also encourage the spirit of solidarity, acceptance of diversity and tolerance.

It is a unique opportunity to show recognition to artists for their work bidding to own an original artwork from outstanding artists, Albanian and international friends.

The auction will be organized in a hybrid format in three sessions presenting three lots of artworks. Every lot offers the possibility to have 20 participants: 10 in the auction floor and 10 bidding online.
