“I call it ‘FUCK’ not just as a scream of anger, but as a way of mentally killing everything that hurts me.”
— Kristanja Çene
In her most personal and explosive series yet, Kristanja Çene unveils FUCK — a cycle of large-scale oil paintings that channel emotional pain into powerful expression. This series is raw, brutal, and uncompromising — a visual rebellion against daily injustice, inner turmoil, and the invisible violence that leaves its marks on the body and soul.
Distorted figures, intense gestures, and the urgency of street art style come together in a world that doesn’t imitate reality — it dismantles it. FUCK is a scream. A purge. A rupture.
Included to this Online Exclusive Exhibition two unflinching self-portraits anchor the series, offering intimate access to the artist’s internal struggle — and her fearless reclamation of space.

Kristanja Çene (b. 1998) is a young contemporary artist known for her expressive paintings, sculptures, and installations. A graduate of the University of Arts, she explores various mediums, including painting, sculpture, and mixed media.
Influenced by her father, a renown  painter, Çene’s work blends impressionistic and abstract elements, often capturing movement, nature, and human interactions with bold, dynamic brushstrokes.
Beyond painting, she works with iron wire and resin to create intricate sculptures and installations that engage with space and form. Her multidisciplinary approach reflects a deep curiosity about materiality and the expressive potential of different artistic techniques.
