PRESS RELEASE
Gallery70 has the pleasure to present the side by side exhibition “Maxi Cosi” by Johan Gustavsson and Jonas Ohlsson, two Swedish artists based in The Netherlands.
Gustavsson & Ohlsson
Originally from Sweden, they have both been living in The Netherlands for the last twenty years. Next to their artistic practices they are both curating exhibitions and lecturing at various Art Academies. Gustavsson & Ohlsson are both inspired by amateur, outsider and children’s drawings and their often unique display of rawness, care and honesty.

They also share a deep love and passion for the medium of drawing, an ancient medium that allows space for intuition, imperfections and directness of thought.
Everything from daily mundane occurrences to larger sweeping political issues are all addressed with a gentle tenderness, celebrating the strangeness and awkwardness of everyday life.
